Colorado drilling regulators warn of damaged tanks

DENVER — The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is warning people to stay away from flood-damaged oil and gas production equipment and tanks.

Regulators said Wednesday tanks and other equipment from oil and gas facilities may still be pressurized and contain flammable liquids.

They also warn that the equipment may be unstable and shift, fall or roll.
