Colorado highway reconstruction making progress

BOULDER — Gov. John Hickenlooper and Colorado transportation officials will be on hand Monday to discuss efforts to repair roads damaged by flooding.

State officials say they worked around-the-clock to repair Colorado Highway 119 from Boulder to Nederland, and they are making progress on other highways, including U.S. Highway 36.

The highway to Nederland is opening a week ahead of schedule after it was closed on Sept. 12 due to flooding.
