Colorado home builders report gains
DENVER — Colorado home builders last year pulled more permits than they did the year before.
It was the second year in a row that they reported gains.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the state recorded nearly 13,000 single-family and multifamily building permits through November. That’s a big increase from the 11,500 permits issued in 2010.
According to the Denver Post, the industry is still 70 percent below its peak.
