Colorado Mesa rallies for victory

The Colorado Mesa baseball team scored six runs in the sixth inning to rally for an 11-6 victory over Colorado State University-Pueblo at Suplizio Field.

Austin Kaiser started the rally with a bunt and scored on a fielder’s choice and error. By the time the inning ended, the Mavericks (24-5, 18-1 RMAC) scored six runs on four hits and two errors.

Cody Lahman (5-0) limited the ThunderWolves to two unearned runs on two hits in three innings of relief for the victory.

The game was delayed for 52 minutes because of lightning.
