Colorado Mesa wrestlers fall to Fort Hays

Colorado Mesa and Fort Hays State each won five matches, but a forfeit and a pin gave Fort Hays enough points for a 21-16 RMAC victory in Hays, Kan.

Fort Hays State’s Sam Thoman pinned Dylan Granard in 2:13 at 165 pounds. The Tigers won by forfeit at 125.

Tyler Nelson (133), James Martinez (141), Jon Gappmaier (157), Zak Slotten (174) and Nick Petersen (184) won decisions for Mesa.
