Colorado online gambling plans on a roll

DENVER — Colorado officials are considering legislation that would allow online gambling.

Earlier this year, Colorado lawmakers and industry officials drafted legislation that would have authorized Internet poker, but that effort stalled. The industry says it will continue to explore the issue, with another push possible when lawmakers return next year.

Current state regulation relies on cooperation from the gambling industry.
