Colorado teens to pre-register to vote

LONGMONT — Colorado teenagers who are 16 and 17 years old will be allowed to pre-register to vote in future elections beginning Wednesday.

The young voters will be able to vote when they turn 18.

According to the Longmont Times-Call, supporters say the new law is a way to get young people invested in the democratic process.
