Cops release photo of ‘Friendly’ robbery suspect
The Grand Junction Police Department on Monday released a surveillance photo in hopes of identifying a man who reportedly robbed a business at knifepoint and assaulted a worker.
Officers were called just before 7 p.m. Saturday on a report of a man who hit a store employee at Smoker Friendly, 2692 Highway 50, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police have described the suspect as white, in his 30’s, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 170 pounds and he was wearing a dark-colored coat with a hoodie covering his head.
