Couple arrested in Aspen murder case

ASPEN — Pitkin County authorities have arrested a man and his wife in connection with the death of Aspen native Nancy Pfister.

William Styler III and Nancy Styler are facing charges of first-degree murder following their arrest on Monday.

Pfister was found dead in her home Wednesday. Her late father, Art Pfister, was a former Aspen Skiing Co. executive who played a major role in the development of Buttermilk Mountain.

Sheriff Joe DiSalvo says he does not know how long she had been dead when her body was found.

Colorado court records Tuesday did not indicate if they have attorneys.
