Crash through house victim identified

The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died this afternoon at a crash scene in the 1900 block of Bunting Avenue as 55-year-old Grand Junction resident Stanley Sanders.

Sanders had a “natural event” and did not suffer any injuries when he drove a truck through a house at 1925 Bunting Ave. and into the side of another house at 1940 Bunting Ave., according to the Coroner’s Office. The manner of death is natural causes.

A female passenger in the truck was not injured.
