Delta police seek owner in dog attack
Delta police are seeking information about a dog that entered a fenced yard and attacked and killed another dog.
The homeowner then shot and killed the attacking dog, described as a young, reddish-brown pit bull, with a single gun shot. Animal Control is hoping to locate the owner of the attacking dog.
Police were called about 7:09 p.m. Wednesday to the residence in the 1200 block of east 13th Street, where officers found the attacking dog dead. The homeowner’s dog was severely injured and was taken to a veterinarian.
