Denver police say boy shot while riding in vehicle

DENVER — Denver police are trying to find suspects and a motive after an 8-year-old boy was shot in the back while riding in a vehicle on Monday.

Police say the shots were fired from a passing car in west Denver. The boy was critically injured.

According to KMGH-TV, two adults in the vehicle were not injured.
