Deputy finds 28 pounds of marijuana in I-70 traffic stop

A deputy with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department located 28 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of vehicle after a traffic stop on Interstate 70 on Tuesday.

Street value of the drug is valued at about $70,000, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.

Stacie Garza, 37, of Midland, Texas, and Bruce Reuter, 37, of Las Vegas, were arrested on suspicion of two felony counts of distribution or possessing more than five pounds of marijuana and possession of more than 12 ounces of marijuana concentrate.
