Education board considers new graduation rule

DENVER — The Colorado Board of Education is considering tougher guidelines for high school graduation.

The proposed rules being considered Wednesday focus on competency instead of attendance.

According to the Denver Post, an advisory council has been drafting minimum standards in core subjects that would be required to graduate from Colorado high schools.
