New T-shirt design sought for walk

Artspace and the Junior Service League of Grand Junction are teaming up to find a new design for the annual Walk4Life T-shirt.

The annual Walk4Life event raises breast cancer awareness and prevention.

The new design must incorporate the Walk4Life logo and be limited to three colors including teal and pink.

Submit your original logo design online with a signed application form, email it to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or mail the application and the design on a CD to Artspace, P.O. Box 2827, Grand Junction 81502.

The deadline is April 18.

Writers group plans ‘Final Edit’ workshop

Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers will sponsor a writers’ workshop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11 at Two Rivers Convention Center.

“The Final Edit” will delve into the differences between developing a manuscript to completion and polishing it for an audience of agents and publishers.

Colorado authors Robin Owens, Mario Acevedo and Christine Goff will meet one-on-one with attendees.

Themed art classes, events available

Easter, Earth Day and Mother’s Day-themed art classes and free in-store events will be offered throughout April at Michaels Arts and Crafts.
