Falcon man flees after setting trailer fire

COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police say a man set fire to a trailer and tried to flee after a domestic disturbance.

Michael Chiarani is facing charges of arson, menacing, assault and false imprisonment following his arrest on Sunday.

Police say the woman escaped and called police. Authorities say the suspect set a small fire and escaped through a window before being arrested.
