Flash flood warning through 4 today

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for southwestern Mesa County and southeastern Grand County in Utah in effect until 4 p.m. today.
Slow-moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall have dropped 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches of rain on the southeast side of the La Sal Mountains in eastern Utah.
Beaver Creek and John Brown Canyon are expected to be heavily affected by the excessive runoff.
