Food bank benefit tonight at Freeway Bowl

The Strike Out Spooktacular, a bowling benefit for the Community Food Bank presented by the local RotarAct group, will happen tonight at the Freeway Bowl.

Happy hour and registration begins at 5:15 p.m., with bowling beginning at 6 p.m. Teams are limited to four people, and the entry fee is $100 per team, which includes two games and a drink token per person.

Organizers say Halloween costumes are encouraged, but not required, though there will be prizes for best costume theme.

RotarAct is a Rotary club of young professionals ages 18-34. Each year, RotarAct chooses a different beneficiary of its Strike Out event. This year’s beneficiary is the Community Food Bank,
