Forest Service restricts shooting near Boulder
BOULDER — The U.S. Forest Service is restricting recreational shooting to daylight hours in Lefthand Canyon and the former Nederland dumpsite in the Boulder Ranger District.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, the new limitations are in response to safety concerns over shooting at night.
Both areas are heavily used for recreational shooting and rangers say there have been a number of complaints.
