Former Mesa County case manager faces felonies for sex with client
A former Mesa County Community Corrections case manager is facing felony charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a former client.
Annette Louise Henson, 37, who now lives in Aurora and is not employed by the county, is facing two charges of unlawful conduct in a penal institution and was free Friday from Mesa County Jail on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
According to Henson’s arrest affidavit, Henson and a male client started to talk about the client’s work problems and after a couple weeks Henson gave the client her home phone number and the two started talking every day on the phone after work hours.
Near the end of January, the two met up at a bus station in Clifton and Henson drove the two of them to Palisade where they had sex, the affidavit said.
