Frisco using fireworks to mark end of summer

FRISCO — Frisco is using part of the fireworks purchased for its Fourth of July celebration to mark the end of summer.

The show on Saturday will feature half the fireworks that were part of a show that was canceled in July because of a severe drought and high fire danger.

According to the Summit Daily, another show is scheduled for the beginning of December to mark the winter opening of a tubing hill.
