Fruita reschedules next week’s game
On the heels of rescheduling its football game this week, Fruita Monument High School is changing the date and time of its football game next week. Both changes stem from the heavy rains in the Denver area in recent days.
Fruita Monument is playing Eaglecrest at 7:30 tonight at Legacy Stadium in Aurora. The game originally was set for Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats were scheduled to play Highlands Ranch on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Stocker Stadium, but now it will be played Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. at Stocker.
Highlands Ranch had to move its game this week to Monday, creating the need to push back the Thursday game against Fruita. The later game time against Fruita is to accommodate Highlands Ranch students who will be taking the ACT exam that morning.
