Game 15: Central Alabama 10, Spartanburg 5

Central Alabama scored nine runs in the last four innings to defeat Spartanburg Methodist (S.C.) College 10-5 in the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series at Suplizio Field.

Blaine Miller was 2 for 5 with a go-ahead two-run single in the sixth and picked off a Spartanburg runner on first base with the bases loaded in the eighth inning to get out of the inning with a 7-5 lead.

The Trojans added three insurance runs in the top of the ninth.

Central Alabama pitcher Ethan Hunt allowed three runs on two hits in two innings of relief.

Central Alabama plays Palm Beach State (Fla.) College at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. Spartanburg Methodist plays Cochise (Ariz.) College at 3 p.m. Thursday.
