Grand Avenue bridge back open after leak probe

The eastbound lanes of the Grand Avenue bridge were closed for a period of time this afternoon as authorities investigated a reported gas leak in the area.

A road crew working in the area reported a small gas line breach around 4:15 p.m. Traffic was routed away from the bridge for more than a half-hour.

Authorities re-opened the bridge to both lanes of traffic just after 4:45 p.m.
