Grand Junction girls roll to playoff victory
The Grand Junction High School girls basketball team made 15 free throws in the fourth quarter to roll to a 51-32 victory over Mountain Range in the first round of the Class 5A Playoffs at Grand Junction High School.
The Tigers made 28 of 44 foul shots in the game.
Sydni Brandon led Grand Junction with 14 points. Shafer Rubalcaba scored nine.
The Tigers advance to play Rock Canyon at a time to be announced Friday in Highlands Ranch.
