Grand Valley’s Hegwood loses semifinal match

Bryan Hegwood, a 170-pound junior at Grand Valley High School was defeated in his semifinal match. He lost to Caleb Copeland of Bennett at the Class 3A Colorado State Wrestling Championships.

Hegwood now moves to the consolation bracket with the opportunity to finish as high as third place. The tournament continues through Saturday evening in Denver at the Pepsi Center.
