Highlands loses Dunn for game

New Mexico Highlands center Chris Dunn was ejected with 4:01 left in the first half of today’s NCAA Division II Central Region game in Mankato, Minn.

Dunn was apparently retaliating for being shoved earlier in the possession, and threw an elbow to the back of an Augustana players’ heads and was immediately ejected.

The Cowboys are down 51-34 one minute into the second half. Turnovers and cold first-half shooting plagued the Cowboys.

Mesa State tips off at 1:30 p.m. (MST) against Winona State (Minn.) in the first round.
