Come on Josh, nowhere has it said the Guv will commute Dunlap’s death sentence!  It would definitely peeve folks from both sides of the aisle.  You aren’t really saying that those releasing all theses convicts early are from the liberal persuasion are you?

In the reading I have done it is GOP members balking at gun laws and a tougher stance on gun related crimes hiding behind constituents raves about the 2nd amendment.  Stockpiling ammo probably won’t make property owners safer but they feel better.

Hopefully lawmakers can agree that the death penalty has its place for Dunlap, the theatre shooter, and the moron who dismembers a child.  For those releasing prisoners early heads should roll. Hire competent people who can read and correctly interpret a judge’s sentencing decree.

What planet are you living on, Josh?

Your party is the party that wants to drown government in the bath tub. It is because of funding cuts that some prisoners were given early paroles—we didn’t have the money to keep them in prison.

It is your party that makes it easy for any idiot to buy a gun without background checks and encourages immature and irresponsible men to walk around Grand Junction with guns strapped to their hip. (Thankfully, Colorado closed that background check loophole, but it still exists in neighboring states. Republicans are blocking universal background checks nationally.)

A culture that loves guns more than children is a violent culture, and it is your party, not mine, that continues to support idiocy. When civilization came to the West it was because women and children followed the trappers and miners. As soon as a settlement was large enough they did two things: started a school and banned guns from the town—or don’t you know the whole story of the OK Corral?

There is nothing civilized about cutting funding for schools or preaching treason. Yes, I say that it is treasonous to advocate killing our government by drowning it in a bathtub. Drowning is an extremely violent act, and to drown our government is treasonous. Just as it is treasonous to think that a few hunting rifles are a better way of changing government than through votes and legislation.
