Horsetooth open space going cash-only

FORT COLLINS — The Horsetooth Mountain Open Space recreation area is going cash-only.

Managers say automated kiosks are working so well the county will no longer accept bills or coins beginning next month.

According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, credit and debit cards will be the only means for users to buy self-service entrance passes beginning Aug. 1.

Later this year, self-serve kiosks will be added to other fee areas in Larimer County.
