JUCO: Iowa Western beats Columbia State

Iowa Western scored two runs in the top of the ninth to hang on for a 6-5 win over Columbia State (Tennessee) in the first game of the 2014 Alpine Bank Junior College World Series today.
Alex Krupa had two RBI for the Reivers. The Iowa team also used five pitchers to get the win with Brayden Young pitching the ninth for the save. Keenan Breen got the win after pitching a scoreless eight.
Official attendance for the game was 7, 214.
