Iowa Western rallies to win JUCO World Series

Iowa Western Community College successfully executed two bunts and scored the winning run on a balk to defeat San Jacinto (Texas) College-North 5-4 to win the 2012 Alpine Bank Junior College World Series at Suplizio Field.

It is the Reivers second national title. The first came against San Jacinto in 2010.

Iowa Western sophomore Keaton Steele was 2 for 2 with a home run and three RBI and picked up the save in relief. He was chosen the Daily Sentinel Preston Walker MVP.
