LaMee hired to teach acting at CMU

The former director of the Creede Repertory Theatre was hired to teach acting at Colorado Mesa University, the school announced today.

Maurice LaMee comes to the university’s theatre arts department after 12 years as executive/artistic director of the CRT and a 15-year director at the same private theater company.

LaMee acted or directed with the Denver Center Theatre Company, The Arvada Center, Aspen Theatre and the Country Dinner Playouse, the release said.

He is a graduate of the National Theatre Conservatory.
