Langley to represent county on airport authority board
The Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority will have a full board when it meets next week with the appointment Monday of Rick Langley to represent Mesa County.
The Mesa County Commission unanimously appointed Langley to the seven-member board, where he will join two other county representatives as the authority tackles a series of issues, including adjusting the schedule for constructing the administration and firefighting building adjacent to the existing terminal.
The board also includes three representatives appointed by the Grand Junction City Council and a seventh selected by the members of the existing board and ratified by the city and county.
Langley is a certified public accountant with experience as a chief financial officer for several corporations.
