Livestock owners still missing animals
GREELEY — Nearly two months after massive floods swept through Colorado’s Front Range, some ranchers are still looking for their livestock.
Most of the animals are branded, and the owners have stayed in close contact with the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Brand Inspection Division, but they haven’t heard anything yet.
According to the Greeley Tribune, there are no official numbers on missing or dead animals.
The September floods killed nine people, damaged or destroyed nearly 2,000 homes and washed out hundreds of miles of roads.
