Mavs advance to RMAC softball semifinals
Ashley Pulido pitched a complete game to lead the Colorado Mesa University softball team to a 4-1 victory over Nebraska-Kearney in the RMAC tournament on Friday morning in Golden to lead the Mavericks to the RMAC semifinals.
The sophomore limited the Lopers to one run (on a wild pitch) and six hits. She struck out three batters.
Danni Vallie was 1 for 4 with two RBI, including a two-run single in the fourth. Mesa (26-20) scored four runs in the inning. Tawnee Woosley and Taylor Gross had RBI singles.
The Mavericks play Fort Lewis at 4 p.m. today.
