MC plans to re-open Fruita DMV by Tuesday

The Mesa County Clerk and Recorder’s Office plans to re-open the Fruita Motor Vehicle Office by 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a press release.

The county has been notified CenturyLink is sending technicians from Denver to replace a router that is needed for staff to connect to the Department of Revenue, according to the release. The county anticipates the work will be done by the end of the day Friday.

Until the branch is re-opened, customers can visit Mesa County Central Services at 200 S. Spruce St. or the Clifton Office in Peachtree Shopping Center, 3225 Interstate 70-Business Loop for titles and registration services or renew plates online at colorado.gov/renewplates.
