Mesa wrestling goes undefeated in Midwest Duals

The Colorado Mesa University wrestling team won four duals to go undefeated in the Midwest Duals hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

The No. 10-ranked Mavericks (15-1) defeated No. 15 Fort Hays State (Kan.) University 21-12, Newman (Kan.) University 44-3, Colby (Kan.) Community College 30-11 and San Francisco State (Calif.) University 21-18.

Mesa wrestlers Jonathon Stelling (125 pounds), James Martinez (149), Zak Slotten (174) and Nick Petersen (184) were 4-0 on the day.
