Mesa’s Maihi selected All-American
Colorado Mesa University designated player Courtney Maihi made the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and the Daktronics Division II All-American team.
The junior was selected to the first team and is the only RMAC player to make the first team. She was second in the nation in RBI with 68. She led the team with a .444 batting average, a .534 on-base percentage, 15 home runs and was 12 for 12 on stolen base attempts.
The Mavericks qualified for the NCAA Division II regionals for the eighth time in Mort’s 19 seasons.
