Mullen edges Montrose in 4A boys soccer playoff

The Montrose High School boys soccer team scored first, but Mullen came back to defeat the Indians 2-1 in their second-round game of the CHSAA 4A state playoffs today in Denver.
Montrose finished the season 10-6-1, while fourth-seeded Mullen improved to 9-5-3 and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
