Music Scene: July 12-18
The Cabin by the Sea tour, featuring Dirty Heads, the Expendables and Big B, will stop in town at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Mesa Theater and Lounge, 538 Main St.
Local bands Jack + Jill and Zolopht and the Destroyers open the show.
“With praise pouring in from concert-goers who reminiscence from everything to ‘massive circle pits to slow-dance grooves,’ a show by the Expendables is a ‘raging night,’ not to be missed,” a news release said.
Known for its infectious blend of reggae and punk, “littered with just a hint of ‘80s guitar,” the four-piece band has taken a more mellow approach in its most recent album “Gone Soft,” released in May 2012, the release said.
Tickets to the show are $15.
