Nebraska mom accused of human trafficking

FRANKLIN, Neb. — A 35-year-old Nebraska woman already accused of prostituting her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters has been charged with human trafficking and other felony counts.

The Kearney Hub reports that the mother has been charged with five counts of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct, two counts of human trafficking and two counts of child abuse in Franklin County.

She’s also been charged in Furnas County with sexual assault of a child, and with child pornography and conspiracy to commit sexual assault of a child in Buffalo County.

The Associated Press is not using the mother’s name, to protect the privacy of her daughters.

At least five men have been arrested in connection to the cases.
