Nighttime construction zones planned to replace waterline

Night work for waterline replacements in Patterson Road intersections will affect traffic starting Sunday at 6:30 p.m. through 6:30 a.m. Monday, continuing each evening through June 10.

Work will begin on the Patterson Road and 15th Street intersection Sunday evening. That work should be completed in one night.

Traffic will be narrowed to one lane for both eastbound and westbound travel in the construction zone near the intersection, with both lanes shifting to the north side of Patterson Road.

Northbound and southbound lanes of 15th Street will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be marked and will use Wellington Avenue to 12th Street and Hermosa Avenue to 12th Street or 27 1/2 Road.

During the evening hours of Monday through Thursday, waterline work will take place at the Patterson Road and 12th Street intersection.

Traffic will be narrowed to one lane for eastbound and westbound travel in the construction zone near the intersection, with both lanes shifting to the north side of Patterson Road.

Detour routes will be marked for the closure with northbound traffic redirected from 12th Street to Orchard Avenue, then 15th Street and back to Patterson Road.

Southbound traffic will detour from Patterson Road to Seventh Street to Bookcliff Avenue.

The entire Phase 2 Waterline Replacement Project is expected to continue through mid-July.
