Colorado’s two U.S. senators, both Democrats, and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will rally Grand Junction Democrats for President Barack Obama at 8 this evening as the “Colorado Forward” campaign RV rolls into the Grand Valley.

The bus is crossing the state today with the federal officials, who are joining with local Democrats, as it makes its way west across the state from Denver.

The Colorado Forward tour stops at Frisco and Avon and in Glenwood Springs at 4:45 p.m. at 912 Grand Ave. with state Sen. Gail Schwartz and state Rep. Roger Wilson.

The Grand Junction stop at 2454 U.S. Highways 6 and 50, Suite 112, will also include Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia, City Councilwoman Teresa Coons and Schwartz.

The Colorado Forward tour will continue across the state through Tuesday.
