Olathe girls top Coal Ridge; advance to state semifinals

The Olathe grils basketball team maintained their undefeated season today, beating Coal Ridge 40-25 today in the quarterfinals of the 3A state playoffs.

Morgan Stansberry led the Pirates with 14 points, and Emily Brummitt added 8 points in the game played at Moby Arena in Fort Collins, sending Olathe into the Final Four for the state championship. They’ll play the winner of No. 2 seed Holy Family and No. 7 Brush.
