Olathe’s Solseth loses 6-5 in state final

Olathe High School’s Jacob Solseth, a 132-pound senior lost 6-5 on a last minute reversal by No.1 ranked Joshua Miler of Bennett, who finishes with a 49-4.

Solseth defeated No. 2 ranked Kole Kelly of Alamosa in last night’s Class 3A Colorado State Wrestling Championships 7-5 in overtime.

Solseth who placed sixth as a sophomore and fourth last year, completed this season with a 33-5 record. Miller placed fifth both his freshman and sophomore year and third last year.

The Colorado State Wrestling Champions conclude tonight at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
