Olathe’s Solseth makes final; Shank, Piatt lose in semifinals

Jacob Solseth, Olathe High School’s 132-pound senior, will compete for the Class 3A state title tomorrow night. Solseth’s teammates Austin Shank (113 pounds) and Trenton Piatt (120 pounds) both lost their semifinal matches and now move to the consolation bracket with the opportunity to finish as high as third place. The Colorado State Wrestling Championships continue through Saturday evening in Denver at the Pepsi Center.
