Palisade police: Suspects enter home on G Road, assault man

The Palisade Police Department reports that suspects entered a home in the 3700 block of G Road early Friday morning, assaulting a male inhabitant and threatening the man’s girlfriend.

The 51-year-old resident of the home was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was listed in stable condition with multiple injuries.

One of the suspects fled the home on a motorcycle owned by a resident of the home. The motorcycle was apparently abandoned in the area of 29 1/2 Road and Orchard Avenue. A suspect has not been located, according to the Palisade Police Department.

The 21st Judicial District Critical Incident Team was asked to process the scene, but the case is being investigated by the Palisade Police Department.
