Palisade’s Hannigan gets state title shot

No. 2 ranked Dalton Hannigan of Palisade High School held off No. 1 ranked Ian Wingstrom of Fort Morgan, 5-4 in their Class 4A 126-pound semifinal match.

The Bulldog’s Hannigan, a junior with a 38-3 record, will challenge for a state title tomorrow night at the Colorado State Wrestling Championships being held at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
