Police accuse man of damaging church with hatchet

COLORADO SPRINGS — A man is facing charges after someone caused significant damage to a church and a car with a hatchet.

Police said Saturday Austin Gelsinger could be charged with second-degree burglary and felony criminal mischief.

According to KRDO-TV (http://tinyurl.com/mxtj6qa ), Holy Cross Lutheran Church associate pastor Dave Hall says there was significant damage to the church, including glass doors and windows, televisions and walls.
