Police car painted during vandalism spree

FORT COLLINS — Fort Collins police are looking for vandals who spray-painted more than a dozen vehicles, including one of their cruisers.

The damage was discovered Tuesday morning east of town. The police car’s rear bumper was painted with graffiti.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, one of the vehicles was painted with the word “sorry.” Victims say the culprits apparently targeted newer cars.

No estimate of damage was available.
